As many of you know AYD and ACDC will be hosting an Election Night Party at the Arlington Cinema N Drafthouse located on Columbia Pike, on November 6th. A few of you have voiced concerns about being able to get to the Drafthouse on that night considering it is not directly on a metro line. Our ongoing partnership with OFA and the proximity of the Drafthouse to its Arlington headquarters as well as the growing need to host events away from the Orange Line are factors in this decision. There are many different ways of getting to the Drafthouse including carpooling, cab rides from metro stations, and riding different bus lines. Please see below:
Public Transit
There are Metro Bus and Arlington Regional Transit Bus routes that stop directly in front of the Arlington Cinema N Drafthouse or in a close enough walking proximity. Buses are also cheaper than the Metro train, $1.50 for ART and $1.60 for Metro bus.

Parking
There is plenty of parking within a block of the Drafthouse. Parking is available in the Halsted, on Walter Reed Dr. (on both the north and south ends of Col. Pike), in the CVS parking lot, the Giant Parking garage, the Rite Aid parking lot across the street, the lot behind OFA HQ, and surrounding streets. Remember that parking in Arlington is always free after 6pm.
