Help turn Valentine’s Day green at the AYD Benefit Date Auction on February 7! Over 150 attendees will bid on Arlington’s most eligible bachelors and bachelorettes at our popular fundraiser! Half of all proceeds will go toward Arlingtonians for a Clean Environment (ACE), a 501(c) 3 organization that works to improve the environment of Arlington County together with citizens, civic associations, government agencies, and the business community to achieve a clean and sustainable community.  

Happy hour prices at Ri Ra will be extended to 9:00 pm!

AYD is excited to announce our first themed happy hour of 2008!  February's theme is Going Green, and the event will be fun-packed with trivia, a raffle and more!  Also, King Street Blues has extended its happy hour specials for AYD until 8:00 pm!  So, don't miss out and join us on Thursday, February 28th, at King Street Blue (Arlington Courthouse) from 6-9 pm.  We look forward to seeing you there!!  To RSVP, click here.

Potomac Overlook Regional Park

Arlington Young Democrats is partnering with Community Role Models to help with an invasive plant removal at Potomac Overlook Regional Park. Help us take back the park from the clutches of invasives! If you have them, please bring work gloves, a shovel, and garden tools, but if you don't, no big deal, we'll have some available for you to use. After the event we will head to a local smoke-free bar to celebrate a job well done.
