The Women’s Caucus focuses on issues that impact women’s lives politically, economically, and socially. Some of these issues include constitutional equality, reproductive rights, mother/caregiver support, lesbian rights, economic inequality, preventing violence against women, and ending racism. AYD has a strong team of both men and women dedicated to discovering positive outcomes regarding these tough issues.
In recent years, The Women’s Caucus has been joined by other concerned organizations to produce opportunities to explore important issues. Some of these are Virginia League of Young Leaders (LoYL), Get Women Elected NOW (GWEN), The National Organization for Women (NOW), and NARAL Pro-Choice Virginia. We thank them for joining us and hope to have successful future events to empower men and women and promote the Democratic Party.
