Sign up for AYD Listserv
Sign up for the AYD e-mail listserv to stay up-to-date with events and activities. The listserv provides members access to a number of campaign and community events that do not always appear on the website. E-mail Tracy Hensler, and ask her to add you to the list. You can also visit Yahoo Groups to submit your e-mail address for the list.
Volunteer for the Joint Campaign
Participate in Arlington's Joint Campaign! The Joint Campaign is the way we organize campaigns for all the various elections in a given year. Because Virginia has an election EVERY YEAR, there are always opportunities to get involved in a variety of campaigns and campaign activities. Whether you'd like to organize a fundraiser, make get-out-the-vote calls, give rides to voters on election day, hand out campaign literature at community events and in neighborhoods, or help set up and break down various parties and events, there are many opportunities for you to participate! Contact Jason Faberman, AYD Program Chair and Joint Campaign Co-Chair, to get involved!
Become a Precinct Captain, Co-Captain, or Leader
Help organize your neighborhood for the Democratic party! Precinct captains and leaders organize volunteers for the campaign season. It's grass-roots work at its finest! Contact Jim McBride to find out more about becoming a precinct captain.
