Membership in the AYDs is open to anyone between the ages of 18 and 35. If you are over 35, you can still join as an associate (non-voting) member and enjoy all the privileges of regular members. We encourage students and young professionals alike to join. If you would like test the waters before jumping in, simply come to one of our social events, campaign events or monthly meetings. Meetings are held the fourth Thursday of every month. (except December) A list of our events are posted to the events page), or simply send us an email for more information.
Membership dues are only $20 per year and entitle you to free entry to AYD social events, discounts at Arlington Democratic fundraisers, the right to vote and run in AYD elections, and a free copy of our newsletter, The Young Democrat. You will also be included in all mailings about AYD activities.
