We invite you to join the Arlington Young Democrats for our monthly meeting on Wednesday, June 19th. This meeting will feature Dr. Scott Taylor of The Black Heritage Museum of Arlington for a discussion on the importance of Juneteenth, and the impact of Black Arlingtonians in shaping Arlington’s progressive history.

This forum is a great opportunity for AYDs to learn to learn about this important holiday, and to engage with one of Arlington’s foremost historians. All are welcome!

The event will be held at Vista on Courthouse Apartments (2200 12th Court N) on June 19th from 7-8 pm. Street parking is available and it’s a short walk from the Courthouse metro station.

At our June meeting, we will also be voting on our Green New Deal resolution as a follow up from our May Green New Deal Forum, so take a look at that here!
