May Day PRO Act Rally

Join us for this must-attend rally! The most pro-union legislation since the 1930s is closer than ever to becoming the law of the land. We need to make sure Senator Mark Warner becomes a co-sponsor of the Protecting the Right to Organize (PRO) Act. The PRO Act is historic legislation that will put power in the hands of workers and reverse decades of legislation meant to crush unions. The bill will completely change labor law as we know it and shift power away from CEOs to workers.

President Biden, Senator Bernie Sanders, and even Senator Joe Manchin have announced support for the PRO Act. Senator Warner is one of only three Democratic Senators who has not yet co-sponsored this transformative legislation. The PRO Act has already passed the House of Representatives with bipartisan support. We need to make sure that Senator Warner becomes a PRO Act co-sponsor. Join us and invite your friends!

Event Sponsors: The Communications Workers of America, Our Revolution, Democratic Socialists of America, Virginia Justice Democrats, Arlington Young Democrats, Arlington Democratic Labor Caucus, Alexandria Democratic Labor Caucus

Nearest Metro Station King Street – Old Town is a 1.2 mile walk There’s on street parking. Parking lots are 2-3 blocks away on Union Street. This is a live in-person event. We will be practicing social distancing. Make sure to wear a mask at all times and keep 6 feet from your neighbor.
